Greetings all,
I've misquoted it, but somewhere in FW Joyce utters this thought in
FinngegansWakish:
"my readers, are they not my writers?" my memory tells me that Ellman
quotes the line as a frontspiece to a chapter in his biography, but I'm
unable to find the line in Joyce or in Ellman?
Can anyone help? What is the exact phrase? Where does Joyce say it? I
would so like to get that phrase right!
Yours,
alderman1
