neighbor's dog

by "Somebody" <idontcheckthisveryoften@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 13, 2007 at 09:48 PM

It has been whining for over the last hour, at least. I want it to go
away.
I turned up the radio, but I don't really feeling like listening to the
radio.

Dumbass dog. Dumbass neighbor.

There's a bunch of Vonnegut stuff on NPR. I think I will get the
headphones
and drown my sorrows some more...

He was old and smoked and drank too much and coulda died years ago, but
it's
still sad. He was comforting and it's sad there won't be any more new
words
from the man. His prescient words about death were interesting when he
was
alive, but now he is dead and though comforting not as funny. Now that
the
worst of all has happened, it's sad.

It helps seeing and hearing him again though. Reminds me why I admired
him
so much.
