What does "Charlie" mean?

by "Timofei Koryakin" <KorTA@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 17, 2005 at 05:04 AM

I observe that Corwin and Random several times use a word "Charlie".
For example:
NPiA, ch.1: "Not if it's cash-and-carry, Charlie. So, call it."
NPiA, ch.6: "Then you're crazy, Charlie."
GoA, ch.2: "None of your business, Charlie. Ladybird, Ladybird, fly
away home-"
tHoO, ch.1: "What about Charlie here?" he asked, fingering his blade.

My dictionaries say that "Charlie" means "Viet Cong" or "girl" or
letter C or name of fox. But I can believe it. Corwin could take part
in Vietnam War, but Random could't. Other meaning are unsuitable.
