Hi,
Just read the story "Mrs. Todd's Shortcut" in "Skeleton Crew", and I
thought: Well, if that one hasn't a strong connection to DT, I'll eat my
hat
(if I had one, that is).
Plants that are moving, animals, which just don't look right in "our"
world,
a woman minimizing driving time by finding "shortcuts", of which I
couldn't
help thinking that they are also not part of "our" world, but of one of
the
others on the levels of the Dark Tower. "The Talisman" also comes to my
mind
here. And she got younger with every shortcut she found, which somehow
reminded me of "Lisey's Story" actually.
Anyone felt that, too?
I don't know, if this question has been posed here already, if so, it must
have been a long time ago.
